Movendis HPR Carbon uses the very same high resilience, high strength EPDM rubber than our other HPR belts, but uses a Carbon Cord. Just as before, our belts feature EPDM highly reinforced with Technora® aramid fibers that can withstand temperatures from -40°C (-40°F) to 140°C (284°F), coupled to our “Low Noise Rubber” technology, which allows us to confidently affirm that our belts, even in snowmobile usage will not be squeaking like crazy.
And now with Carbon Cord, we can better answer the specific needs of any application thrown at our belts. Whether for a dedicated design and special specifications or to be used on a non-modified machine, we now have the ability to perfectly engineer and manufacture to any specification needed.
Our carbon cord is sourced from trusted and high-quality partners with whom we have spent the time refining all aspects of our product. That is to say that not only is this one of the highest quality carbon cord, but it was also engineered to have better adherence to our “cushion” adhesive layer allowing for much better cord retention and setting.
All this equals in better durability, better power transmission while keeping the benefits of the carbon cord.
